Differentiating from an air-cooled version that rejects heat to an AHRI 95°F ambient temperature, 

Evaporative condensers use a network of sprinkle cooling nozzles to spray water over the 

condenser coil that evaporates and cools the condenser air down toward a typical AHRI 

ambient wet bulb temperature of 75°F

This will result in rejecting heat to colder temperatures and thus, operating at a lower condensing 

temperature, which leads to lower compressor work and energy. In such operating conditions, 

evaporative condensing units operate at a lower condensing temperature and results in 

consuming 30–40% less electricity than comparable air-cooled units, especially at full load design conditions

Savings associated with evaporative Condensers lower energy consumption translates into 

lower electrical bills depending on the kW/Hr consumption rate in the area. Adding to the
